DetailThis magnificent vase is a fine example of ancient Chinese porcelain, showcasing a masterful combination of techniques. It features a distinctive design with a bulbous body covered in a beautiful robin's-egg blue (or turquoise) glazed finish, contrasted by an ornate neck decorated in famille rose enamels. The neck is adorned with intricate floral scrollwork on a deep pink ground, highlighted with gilded accents. Two prominent, sculpted elephant-head handles add a sense of regal strength and symbolism (representing strength and good fortune). The vase also includes a separate, cylindrical inner section painted with figures, suggesting a possible "turning heart" (转心) mechanism, a rare and sophisticated feature. The base is finished in a soft turquoise glaze bearing a gilt seal mark.
